Base weighs 22kg and is heavy enough to secure your parasol with or without the added stability of a table. Bases under 22kg have to be used with the extra stability of a table because they’re not heavy enough to support the parasol on their own. 

The base includes a 35mm, 38mm and 48mm adaptor to fit parasols with a 35mm, 38mm or 48mm pole diameter. Simply pop your chosen adaptor into the holding tube before securing the pole into place with the tightening screws. The tube has a durable stainless steel construction and is highly resistant to rust and corrosion.

No tools are required to assemble the base and informative instructions are included. It can be set up and ready to use in a matter of minutes and can be easily disassembled to safely store away when the summer’s over. The base also has indented handles on the bottom, making it easier to pick up and move to a new location.

Protective gliders on the bottom of the base help to protect your patio or decking from nasty marks and scratches. They also keep the base slightly elevated from the ground to prevent water building up beneath it. This helps to protect your patio or decking from damp which can lead to unsightly mildew and mould.
