The base is made from durable resin which is waterproof and resistant to weathering and aging. It’s also less likely to chip or crack than a base made from concrete. Its floral pattern makes it a more attractive choice than a plain parasol base whilst its black colour scheme pairs perfectly with any patio, decking, or balcony area.

The base includes a 38mm and 48mm adaptor. The 38mm adaptor is suitable for half parasols with a 38mm diameter pole while the 48mm adaptor is suitable for parasols with a 48mm pole. We recommend that you only use the base to secure parasols with a half-sized canopy as parasols with a full-sized canopy will be too heavy on one side.

No tools are required to assemble the base and informative instructions are included. It can be set up and ready to use in a matter of minutes and can be easily disassembled to safely store away when the summer’s over. Because the base is relatively light, you can easily pick it up and move it around when moving your parasol to a new location.

Protective gliders on the bottom of the base help to protect your patio, decking, or balcony area from nasty marks and scratches. They also keep the base slightly elevated from the ground to prevent water building up beneath it. This helps to protect your patio or decking from damp which can lead to unsightly mildew and mould.
