Replacement Parasol Canopy

Check that your parasol has 6 ribs and a hexagonal shape to match the shape of the canopy. You should also measure the length of one of the ribs (from the edge of the rib to the pole in the middle). The length of the rib is half of the diameter of the entire canopy, so a 1.2m rib will make a 2.4m replacement canopy a perfect fit.

The canopy is made from 180g polyester which doesn’t easily stretch or tear like natural fibres. As well as shielding your eyes from the sun, it has a UV30+ rating to protect you from harmful UV rays. An air vent at the top helps to aid air flow, keep you cool, and protect the parasol from being pulled upwards by the wind.

The canopy has 6 rib pockets to match the number of ribs on your parasol. Each pocket has reinforced stitching to safeguard them from snagging or tearing when you’re fitting the canopy to your parasol. The reinforced stitching also helps to provide protection from wear and tear when opening and closing the canopy.

Once you’ve unscrewed the top cap on your parasol and removed your existing canopy, gently thread the 6 ribs of your parasol into the 6 rib pockets of the replacement canopy. Once completed, screw the top cap back onto your parasol to secure the canopy in place. Instructions are included to guide you through the process.
